I like most people in AIM. I am very lucky to meet Adi, Dave, Nac, Neha and Roxy. We are a learning team but they are more like family to me. I do have a hard time learning because of the language barrier. I’m grateful that they did not give up on me and always try to help me. Although I am the only Chinese here, I never feel alone.
I also want mention the faculty and staff who are all very friendly. In China, most of time, students just listen to what a professor says during class. Here, it is a two-way communication. Professors will encourage students to voice out their opinions so we are pushed to think. At the same time, we can get different ideas from others which opens our minds.
We work hard and play hard. For me, AIM is a big family where we work together and grow together.
