“AIM has really changed me. Life is more VUCA. It’s more complicated but, in a way, it is also simpler. The better statement I suppose is — it depends.

You kind of grow confident but at the same time you lose confidence. Grow, because you learn a lot more than when you came in. Now, you can talk in a lingo like how all the academics talk. Before there was no name to these ideas. However, you also lose confidence because you find out that there are so many things happening in the world that you don’t know. You find out that the two years is just not enough. You find out that there are so many things that the lectures couldn’t teach you.  What the faculty learned for decades, you have to learn it all in 5 days.

Now, I’m kind of certain and yet still uncertain.”

Princeton Tan is a student of the Executive MBA program.
