Oh my God, what did I get myself into?
“I ask myself this question every day, but I always remind myself right after that nothing bad will come out of this experience. I believe that people need to struggle in order to achieve greatness.
I did not have a business course back in college. I took up Hotel, Restaurant, and Institution Management because I was passionate about culinary and hospitality. However, ever since I was a kid I was also fascinated with the beauty industry. So fresh out of college, I decided to pursue this passion and hopefully make a career out of it.
The business know-how that I had was purely from experience, but I still wanted to learn more in order to become better at my work. It has been very difficult juggling both work and study, but it was a choice I made because both are important for me.
If there is one thing I learned from this experience, it’s that even if I have achieved so much in my life, I should always find a way to give back. I should be able to inspire people especially those who are in need of that extra push to change their lives for the better. That is what AIM is all about.”
